BRIEF WRITE – UP ON BOYS TOWN

Boys Town was started on August 01,1955 in commemoration of the Centenary Celebrations of All Saints High School, Hyderabad. The history of Boys Town is in essence a history of ideas, vision and hard work of its pioneers.

It has a modest start with Two Brothers and Three Teachers and 75 Orphan Children. Once the humble beginning was made, the founder, Rev. Bro. John of the Sacred Heart, with his men set out enthusiastically to begin educating and harnessing the homeless and laid the foundation for further growth and expansion.

Boys Town grew and expanded on a massive scale under the dynamic leadership of Rev. Bro. Vincent DePaul fro 1958-1972. During the 14 years, under the supervision of Rev. Bro. Vincent, Boys Town was completely transformed that it bore no semblance to the early humble stages. The sheds were replaced with modern buildings to house the Boys Home, the ITI and the High School.

Today, Boys Town ITC has 600 Students. In the ITC, we are imparting training in the following trades under NCVT Pattern:

1. Machinist (Composite)
2. Machinist Grinder
